Curling is a sport that really shouldn’t be considered a sport.  Two teams, each with four players, slide stones across ice to a target area at the end of the ice sheet.  The team with the most stones closest to the center of the target wins.  In Canada, curling is a very popular sport, and both the men’s and women’s team have won medals at the Olympics.  When sliding a stone across ice is considered a sport in the Olympics, that is not a good sign.  Curling is like golf, it should be played by retirees who want to get out every once in a while.  Not by the young men and women we see today playing the “sport”.
